Welcome to my webpage! I'm a UIC graduate with a bachelor's degree in English, and I am passionate for creative writing and communicating with other people. I write both fiction and non-fiction stories, and I've taken multiple courses on creative writing and professional writing. I improved my interpersonal and communication skills through a past internship as a receptionist at Enlace Chicago, a non-profit organization in Little Village. After speaking and assisting multiple clients in person or by phone, I realized interacting with people was something that I excelled at and enjoyed doing. I want to apply both my communication and creative writing skills to newspaper writing, where these abilities are strong assets. My passion for writing and my success in UIC's professional writing courses have prepared me well for a writing career.
